Team USA Bobsled Team
With the 2010 Winter Olympics Vancouver rapidly approaching, the Team USA Bobsled team is still celebrating a number of recent victories, and also hoping to bring home the gold this year for Team USA. Back in December, the USA Bobsled team had three consecutive World Cup victories in less than a three week time span, making them the team to beat at this year’s Olympics. Even their skiing goggles looked fast.
Prior to Thanksgiving, the USA Bobsled team took home the victory in the four man race at Lake Placid, New York. Following that race, the Team USA Bobsled Team competed at Cesana, Italy, site of the 2006 Olympics, to bring home yet another victory for Team USA. Then, on the weekend of December 12, the team again won another World Cup victory at Winterburg, Germany, in a race that is almost always dominated by Germans. Although the Germans still came in second, third, and fourth, they couldn’t quite compete this year with the dedicated American team and their super fast skiing goggles.
Can’t touch Team USA Bobsled Team
Team USA Bobsled Team captain Curt Tomasevicz says that this year, the team is having more fun than ever. In fact, he says, it seems like the more fun they have every time they put on their ski gear the better they perform in competitions.
